Temperature and Weather Online

Dear Students,
Here is a list of online activities for you to choose from for your assignments next week. Follow the links to the sites for examples, experiment directions, reading or video then follow the directions included under the links to make sure that you get credit for your hard work.

You are required to complete 2 of the following activities, turning in the work so it can be graded.

Build your own thermometer. After completing the experiment from the above link be sure to write your name on the project and TURN IT IN.

Follow the link above to access a kid friendly forecast. Check on the forecast 4 times. Record the predictions and then record the actual weather for that day. Fold a blank piece of paper in half and then in half again. Open your paper up and each box represents one day. Keep your records on this paper and when it is done TURN IT IN. (you may use pictures as well as words but make sure you include the actual temperatures and the degree symbol.)

Follow the link to the video. After watching the short segment record your answer to the actor's question at the end of the clip on paper and then TURN IN your answers. *don't forget your name!
